ITAC was established to preserve traditional art and craft skills, to present a history of these skills, and to have fun in learning and developing skills in the various media. We have many art/craft classes available on a continuing basis, guest lecturers, demos, and a full fine art, fine craft gallery representing Indiana artists and craftsmen. Classes are for adults and for children and we welcome home schoolers, public school classes, interior designers, home builders, retirees, etc who will find us able and willing to fit your artistic needs. Textiles: We have a full textile area featuring classes in weaving, knitting, spinning, wool felting, tatting, hooking, braiding, Victorian lace, etc etc. We sell yarns for our classes and for walk-in customers looking for the special yarns for a special project. We often make up a combination of yarns to fit exactly what they are looking for. Our working vintage floor looms are from the 1800's and we also have contemporary looms. Our spinning wheels are from the 1800's and we also have contemporary wheels. You may reserve a loom to weave off a project and choose from the many yarns available.
