The bigger store means we can keep even more vast stocks, now extending to the full Rowan FABRIC collection and most Jaeger handknit yarns. Elaine is still wonderful, as is Sue, who runs the shop part of the time. We still aim for fast delivery, though Rowan/Jaeger have lowered their delivery targets from 2/3 days a couple of years ago to anything up to 10 days now, so we're often waiting for deliveries. We still turn most orders around the same day when the items are in stock. There's secure ordering on the website, and I'm currently adding shade palettes for all the yarn qualities - work in progress. We can deduct UK VAT from yarn orders over 30ukpounds, which means that we can beat almost any other Rowan/Jaeger source for price, so you may even be tempted to try out our mail order service. You can also sign up for our seasonal enewsletter which comes out with the spring and autumn collections and is a useful companion to the new yarns and designs.

The rare Wensleydale Sheep has a soft and lustrous fleece, from which our wool is spun.
