One is machine knit, which I won't repeat here, but if anyone wants it, E-mail me. The others are as follws: Version 1. 2x2 Rib .\Using yarn that will give the following gauge on No. 4 needles: 11 sts = 2 inches. 7 rows = 1 inch. Size 6-8 and 8-10 Cast on 38 (42) sts. Row 1 (RS) K2, *P2,K2, repeat from * across row Row 2: P2, *K2, P2, repeat from * across row Repeat these 2 rows twice more. **On the next row, inc 1 st each end and repeat this increaseuntil there are 44 (48) sts, forming new patterns to keep in the rib, as the stitches are added. Work even for 5 rows, end with Row 2. Now reverse it, and dec. 1 st each end and repeat this dec. every 4th row until back to original 38(42) sts. Repeat from ** once more and bind off in ribbing. Fold in half lengthwise and sew up. With a No. 3 crochet hook, work 1 row s.c. around top, working 1 s.c. into each rib. Decorate with mini roses, or other decorations to taste. Version 2. - Lined slipper You can use either one color for lining and one for outside, or do both the same color. No. 10 needles should give your a gauge of 4 st to 1" and 6 rows (3 ridges) = 1" Using Main color if using 2 colors, cast on 35 sts. Row 1: Knit Row 2: K11, *P1, K11, repeat from * once more. Repeat rows 1 & 2 until there are 16 ridges on the RS, ending with Row 2. TOE: Row 1: P1 *K1 P1, repet from * across row Row 2: K1, *P1, K1 repeat from * across row. Rpt these 2 rows 5 times mre, then work Row 1. Break off yarn, leaving an end. Pull yarn through all stiitches on needle, and draw up tightly. Sew to start of ribbing to form toe. Fold other end in half and sew seam for heel. LINING Using contrast color if using 2 colors, work same as outside. Slip lining inside of outside, and blanket stitch, or slip stitch, or crochet tops together around food. Do not pull in the edge. Trim with ribbon bow, and flowers, or pompom or other decorations to taste. This is a real stretchy version so will fit most feet.
