So here goes: Again, using thin sock yarn or equivalent - size 0 ndls or 00. Cast on 15 sts, knit first round while distributing them as 5-5-5. knit 13 to 15 more rounds (depending on your gauge, my gauge seems to be 3 by 4 for any square), then on next round dec 1 st on each ndl, (4-4-4) knit 2 more rounds, thread the cut yarn end thru the sts, pull and tighten to close the opening, cast over once or twice - don't secure end yet. Stuff the mouse from the other end with fiber filling, then use the yarn end and loop thru each cast on st, gather, pull and tighten to close the opening. Stitch across a couple of times, and exit at the middle and use as tail. Proceed to face end, and use the rest of the yarn end to make a couple of loops for ears. I used a marker for the eyes, but you can also embroider them - Isn't it incredible, how many instructions it takes for a little thing like that? Good luck - the mouse is definitely the easiest. >From Annette Roennow believing that crafts from the heart is art! aroennow@erols.com, aroennow@dollette.com --- This pattern downloaded from Wool Works: the online knitting compendium http://www.woolworks.org/
