Subject: booties and silk suggestion

        "Marilyn's" baby Booties:
Uses size 4 needles and baby weight yarn  (smaller than sport weight)

Cast on 44 sts.  work in garter st for 10 ridges.

K2 tog twice at start of next 2 rows
bind off 6 at start of next 2 rows ---- should have 28 sts left
K2,p2 ribbing for 18 rows
bind off

fold in half and sew up the toe

This has been figured out without a baby around to see if this is the
right proportions, so if something with WAY off, please let me know.
