FAHRFIGKNITTIN sweater:

Finished chest: 52.5
Gauge= 4 st to 1 inch
Materials: I used Schoolhouse Press's Unspun Icelandic wool 2-ply. I had a
lot of yarn left, but I had 900 yards MC (brown), 600 yards CC1 (cream) 300
yards CC2 (grey).

24 inch Circular needle to give you 4 st to an inch 24 inch Circular needle
2 sizes smaller for ribbing double points for ribbing

Cast on 200 sts in MC. Work K1P1 rib circularly for 4 inches. In last row,
increase 10 stitches. Mark beginning of round, and at 106 sts for side
seams.

Begin chart--read from BOTTOM right to left for each row.

Repeat this 3 times.

We will have to shape the neck. I knit back and forth to do this. K 44 st
from beg of round. BO 14 st. *K to the 1st BO. Turn. BO 2 st, purl to other
edge, turn, bo 2 stitches. Turn, BO 2 st, knit to other edge.* Repeat 3
more times.

Put middle 26 st. of back on holder. Graft back and front shoulder stitches
together ( or bind them off together).

Pick up 80 stitches around neck in MC. Work K1P1 rib for 7 inches.

Machine baste down the two stiches on each side of each side seam--I did an
11 inch armhole. Cut the middle stitch for the steek. Using CC pick up 90
stitches at shoulder, Work chart circularly beginning with ROW 7 for 85
rows.

At the same time:
Work even for first 5 rows.
Decrease 1 st each side of beginning of round every 4 rows until 50 st remain.

K 2 rows MC. Decrease 8 sts in last round.

Working MC, do K1 P1 rip for 5 inches.

Repeat for other sleeve.
