Enjoy! DIAMOND STITCH AFGHAN Materials: Thirteen 4-ounce skeins of knitting worsted weight yarn. One pair size 35 knitting needles. (I usually use 20 skeins and make it extra wide and/or long. The skeins now are 3.5 ounces that I use). Afghan is worked with 4 strands of yarn (1 strand from each of 4 skeins) held together. Approximate finished measurements: 52 inches wide by 60 inches long. If larger afghan is desired, cast on 12 additional stitches for each extra pattern repeat and work to desired length. Additional yarn would, of course, be required for larger size. TO BEGIN: Holding 4 strands of yarn together, cast on 73 stitches. PATTERN STITCH Row 1: Knit 1, *purl 1, knit 9, purl 1, knit 1.* Repeat from * to * across row.
