There is no knitting involved, no dye lots, no gauges! Just use wool yarn. Don't use metallics! Easy cat toy Take about 30 6-8" lengths of wool worsted weight yarn. If you have lighter wool, just use an equivalent number. Tie an overhand knot snugly closer to one end than the other. (Told you it was easy!) The knot should measure about 3/4" across. Trim the short end snug to the knot. Trim the longer ends to about 2". Toss the thing on the floor and see if your cat enjoys it. Mine lugs his all around the house.
