I remember making them in the 60's, but I'm sure that she was making them long before that. My mother just asked me to re-copy them, so I thought that I'd share it with the list. Knitting versus Sewing I do both, but knitting is certainly more portable! Also, once I get the pattern down, I don't have to look that much at knitting, so I can do it during concerts when the house lights are down after my ushering duties are done. I always do this in the back and away from any patrons. If the clicking bothers anyone, I'll stop. Knitters, as a rule, are very polite, but slightly obsessive about their pastime, people. To everything there is a season (Oh, No, not that religion thread again ;-}). Nancy in Rochester, NY - P.S. My last post never made the Digest, which is the only way I get the postings. I would appreciate confirmation from someone that this post was received (of course, if it appears in the next digest, I know that it got out!) ***"Lord, help me to meet this self-imposed and totally unnecessary challenge." -- Ashleigh Briliant (?)*** --- This pattern downloaded from Wool Works: the online knitting compendium http://www.woolworks.org/
