[...] Small amount of MC & CC yarns Dp ndls of a size to match yarn CO 16 sts.Join, being careful not to twist, and work 4 rnds of k1, p1 ribbing, inc 4 sts evenly spaced in last rnd. K 1 rnd. Rnds 1 & 2: With CC, *sl 1, k3, rep from *. (Opt: on Rnd 2, sl 1, p3) Rnds 3 & 4: With MC, k2, *sl 1, k3, rep from *, end k1. Rnds 5-16: Rep Rnds 1-4, ending with Rnd 2. Break CC. Rnds 17 & 18: With MC, knit. Divide for heel: Arranging sts so as to center patt, with yarn at beg of Ndl 1, place 11 sts on Ndl 1, divide 9 sts between Ndls 2 & 3. With a strand of CC, k across Ndl 1. Drop CC and k Ndl 1 again with MC. Continue to work with MC for 12 rnds or desired length. Shape toe Rnd 1: Ndl 1, k1, ssk, k to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1; Ndls 2 & 3, ssk, k to last 2 sts on Ndl 3, k2tog. Rnd 2: Knit. Rnds 3-5: Rep Rnds 1 & 2, ending with Rnd 1. Working across Ndl 1 only, ssk, k1, k2tog. (6 sts rem). Weave toe. Heel Pick out strand of CC, pick up sts on 3 ndls and arrange so there are 11 sts on Ndl 1 and 11 sts on Ndls 2 + 3 (you may need to 'fudge' a st to do this - inc or dec as needed on first rnd) and work another toe: Rnd 1: Knit.
