None small enough for the smallest member who is a tiny 3 yr old. So tonight I made this and it is TOO cute!... Baby Bath Mitt Materials: dpns size 4.5 mm, KW weight cotton, variegated ( you could probably get a couple of these from one ball of Sugar 'n Cream) Cast on 28 sts and join in round. Rib (K.1, P.1) for 8 rounds. Switch to st st (knit every round) EXCEPT... pick one of the shades in the yarn and every time you come to that colour, purl it. Do this til it's almost long enough (mine looks to be about 20 rounds after the rib), then Decrease: *K.1, K.2 tog* all the way around (keeping to pattern :-) Knit one round (keeping to pattern) Decrease again as above. Knit one round (keeping to pattern) Last decrease round: K.2 tog all around. You'll have about 7 sts left. Break yarn, sew in the 2 ends, stuff with a soap, et voila! tiny present for tiny child. Yes, there are no eyelets for a string... not necessary, methinks, plus I don't like strings for little kids. It is really cute. I received a Christmas gift tonight - a skein of Colinette Skye - gorgeous! I like it even better than the skein of silk I gave my friend ;-) Season's greetings to all of you, and to all of you... Goodnight! Reina --------------------- Reina Tebby rdtebby@julian.uwo.ca --- This pattern downloaded from Wool Works: the online knitting compendium http://www.woolworks.org/
