The Northwoods Fiber Retreat occurs twice a year. Our Spring Retreat is usually held the first weekend in March in northern MN and our Fall Retreat is usually held the third or fourth weekend in September in southern MN. Participants can come as early as Thursday and stay until Sunday. Classes are held on Saturdays and vendors will be there for your shopping pleasure. We also have a massage therapist and a sauna. Come for the classes or just bring your knitting or spinning and work on your own projects!

The MKG meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at The Textile Center of Minnesota, 3000 University Ave, Minneapolis, MN. Dues are $25/per calendar year, and include a quarterly newsletter and reduced admission (and early registration) to our annual one-day workshop, the Yarnover. Visitors are welcome to attend our meetings. Bring your knitting!

Our guild is open to anyone interested in fiber arts. We spin, knit, weave, and do other fiber related activities. Dues are $12.00 per year. We have a monthly newsletter. Meetings are held twice a month; please call or email for locations. We also enjoy a weekend retreat in January with classes, demos, and lots of time to share and have fun.

Spiral Fiber Arts Guild

Our guild is open to all aspects of fiber, spinners, weavers, knitters, crocheters, quilters, beaders and many more. We meet in the warm months in a log house in an 1800's village. In the winter we meet in each other's homes so please email for meeting information. Each month we teach each other different project, with much show and tell as items are finished. We host demos the last weekend of July.

Our guild is headquartered in Bemidji, MN. We meet monthly, second Thursday, 7pm, Bemidji Public Library Meeting Room. There are no dues, officers, organized programs, just lots of fiber folks gathering for an evening together. We offer the Headwaters Spinning Rendezvous in September each year - a weekend retreat with nationally knowns teachers in Bemidji!

MKG meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at College of St. Catherine, 2004 Randolph, St. Paul, MN. in Mendel Hall - 1st Floor. Dues are $12/year. New members and visitors are always welcome. MKG holds a yearly event called the "Yarnover" in early Spring, with seminars/ workshops and a market of local yarn shops. MKG has a quarterly newsletter named the Cablegram that is sent to all paid members.
