12/26/2006 The Camellia City Stockin'ettes Knitting Guild's meetings are held the ist Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at Franklin Templeton Bldg, Data Dr, Rancho Cordova, CA (off Hy 50 exit Zinfandell south, right on Data) The dues are still only $15 per year. There are lots of member benefits, a great monthly newsletter, library, lots of programs for members only to help each learn and grow,workshops, field trips, & an active year around community service program.

The Riverside Knitting Guild meets twice a month at the Casa Blanca Public Library located at 2985 Madison Street (South of the 91 fwy between Indiana & Lincoln), Riverside, CA. The Sand and Sea Knitting Guild is a non-profit organization which provides education to its members and the general public to advance the quality, workmanship and creativity of knitting in the greater Los Angeles area.
The Guild holds monthly meetings with educational programs which are open to the public. We sponsor knitting workshops, create knitted items for donation to philanthropic projects and enrich our enjoyment of knitting.
Visitors are welcome to attend the monthly Guild meeting which is held on the second Saturday of each month from 10:15 am until 1:30 pm at the United Methodist Church of Malibu, 30128 Morning View Drive, Malibu CALIFORNIA.

We welcome machine knitters of all levels including those just becoming interested. Meetings are held the first Saturday of the month. Coffee and socialization from 9:15 to 9:45. Meetings usually include some sort of demonstration as well as show and tell. We do not bring our machines to guild. We welcome guests and love to share our enthusiasm for this wonderful craft. North Coast Knitters of San Diego County

North Coast Knitters meets on the first Tuesday of each month except December at 12:30 p.m. at the San Dieguito Methodist Church, 170 Calle Magdalena. Between 75 and 100 knitters usually attend these meetings, which almost always include a guest speaker and a show-and-share session. At least four small groups meet in local coffee shops or members' homes during each month to knit and chat. Dues are $20 a year. The newsletter is printed monthly. The large number of knitters in the group allows us to bring in nationally-known teachers two or three times a year to speak at the meeting and teach workshops.

We meet Tuesday nights from 7-9 pm, usually at a local restaurant: in Stockton on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesdays, and Lodi on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays. We also meet on Saturday afternoons from 1:30-3:30 pm, in Stockton.

We are an informal group of people who enjoy knitting, crocheting or stitching together on a regular basis. From the young to the young-at-heart, crafters of all needle arts, and all levels of experience are welcome. Can't crochet or knit? No worries! We'll be happy to help you learn! We are a group of fiber artists (weavers, spinners, knitters, crocheters,-- beginning to advanced. We have been officially a Guild since October '97, although we have been informally meeting for many years. We meet once a month on every third Saturday afternoon . We have a monthly newsletter. Dues are $15.00 per year. Meetings vary by topic and range from informal spin-ins and knitt-ing to dying workshops. We welcome visiting speakers. We also participate in demonstrations and educational events to promote continued fiber participation and education. We encourage new members from all over Northeastern California to attend any meeting.

Valley Needlers Knitting Guild

We meet the 3rd Monday of each month (except December) at 1 p.m. @ Provident Federal Savings, 1600 East Florida Ave., in Hemet. All members who wish to, also meet every Monday (except the 3rd Monday of the month) at 9 a.m. at Provident to knit and help one another with any knitting problems they may have. There's also a meeting the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. for those who cannot attend during the day. It's held at The Lazy Daisy, 2127 E. Florida Ave. in Hemet. We have 2 or 3 workshops each year and invite nationally known instructors to teach a topic a majority of our members want. We are involved in community projects and maintain a library of books and videos for our members use. Every 2 years we hold a luncheon and fashion show to model what our members have made during the last 2 years. 193 people attended the show this last April. On the alternate years we hold a kniting retreat in the mountains to knit, exchange ideas, learn and have fun. We welcome new mambers!

Machine Knitters Guild of the San Francisco Bay Area meets 1st Saturdays (Sept - June) at Mills College, Oakland. (The campus is located at the Highway 13 & 580 junction.) Anyone with an interest in machine knitting is welcome to attend one meeting as a guest. Doors open at 9 AM. The meeting starts promply at 9:30 AM and ends at noon. Campus staff, at the entrance gate, provide directions to the meeting room and to free parking. Our Guild is not vendor sponsored. Members range from 'pre-beginners' to experts and have all sorts of machines. People come from at least seven counties! We usually have an afternoon workshop. (Workshops are open to members only.) We publish a monthly newsletter and have an extensive print and video library. Our annual Handbook includes a Member Roster, Bylaws, etc.
