"shadow box or "Newfie" pattern for mittens"

I am trying to locate a pattern for shadow box or "newfie" knit mittens. I know that the pattern is made by Briggs & Little but none of the stores in my area carry this pattern. If you have this pattern please email it to me, or if you know where I can purchase one, please email me at the email address included.or at silvermaple2@yahoo.com

Do you mean thrummed mittens, the ones knit with rovings (or fleece) inside to add extra warmth?
If so, there are two free patterns at the Yarn Forward site: http://www.yarnfwd.com/freestf.html
There is also a pattern or kit for sale at this site: http://www.isn.net/acme/sheep/thrum.html
Briggs and Little also has a website that shows all their products: http://www.briggsandlittle.com/wool/default.htm
I believe these two stores carry their patterns and wool:
Cabin Fever: http://www.cabinfever.on.ca/
and Four Season's Knitting Products (their website isn't up and running yet, but you can get a copy of their catalogue):

Hi. Saw you are looking for Newfie mitts.
I found a pattern at www.janeswool.com. She
calls them honeycomb mitts "also known as
honeycomb mitts" . If you can't find email
me and I will scan my copy and send it to you.

Are you looking for the mitts with the thumb and forefinger knitted separately. If so, I may have a pattern for this type.
